Bottom line:
- Renew or stop from the end date and the renewal order in My Alibaba. Not from a renminbi number in WeChat.
- The renewal still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED. On the Hong Kong channel the usual first-year bills are Gold Supplier HKD 39,000 a year (20 showcases) and Verified Supplier HKD 108,000 a year (60 showcases, including a third-party audit). The renewal invoice is whatever that order says. Do not pay the web’s RMB 35,800 against it.
- Before you stop, export inquiries, orders, products and the sub-account list while the login still works. Corpable does not collect the renewal and does not promise the data will still be there later.
A month or two out, the group chat offers two lines. “If you don’t renew, your years on the site go to zero.” And “just renew at the RMB 35,800 figure.” Neither line belongs in the board pack yet.
A Hong Kong company on the Hong Kong channel has a Hong Kong-dollar contract. The renminbi figure is another signing path. How those two bills come apart is in why the web’s RMB 35,800 is not HKD 39,000.
1. Which page actually has the end date
Open the order or the contract in My Alibaba and read the service end date. “It expires next month” from a salesperson, without that page, is not a date.
The store end date and the Business Registration expiry are often different days. An expired BR can stall a bank question or a platform check even while the membership is still paid. What the company files in year one, and to whom, is in what you file in the first year. Do not merge the two dates into one “annual review day.”
2. Who gets the renewal
A renewal is still the membership fee. It is not an ad top-up and it is not an advisor invoice. The payee on the bank slip has to be ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED. Corpable Marketing Limited does not collect it and does not mark it up. Who is paid is in who receives the membership fee.
The usual first-year bills are Gold Supplier HKD 39,000 and Verified Supplier HKD 108,000. Match the renewal order’s amount, currency and showcase count to the agreement you already signed. If they disagree, do not pay yet. Do not assume year two is automatically the same price, and do not assume it must go up. Discuss the number on that order.
A mainland renminbi screenshot does not pay this contract. If the payee is missing a word, the store is not renewed.
3. What to take out while you can still log in
While the company login still works, export these from the company account. Do not leave them only on a salesperson’s phone:
- Inquiries and the buyer thread
- Trade Assurance orders, payments and shipping proof
- Live products, and which ones sit in showcases
- The sub-account list, and who still holds the master login
Whether you can still sign in after the end date, and for how long files stay, follows the backend at that time. Do not write “data is kept forever” into the decision to stop. How the master login and the customer list stay with the company is in master and sub-account security.
What happens to money left in the ad account is on that ad-account page. Do not take “cancel the membership and we cash it out” as a rule. Membership and P4P are separate bills. Do not spend a leftover balance on clicks if nobody is answering.
4. Three decisions that already went wrong
4.1 Renewing a silent store to protect “years on the site.” Years are not inquiries. If showcase lead times are fiction and nobody answers at night, another year is another Hong Kong-dollar bill. If the shop floor is not ready, see move the shop floor first. Who answers the first line across time zones is in the 2 a.m. inquiry from Stuttgart.
4.2 Renewing the Hong Kong-dollar contract from a renminbi screenshot. Money that landed in an intermediary or a personal account did not renew the store. Stop the next transfer and pay the official order. Keep the slip. Do not “make up for it” with an ad top-up.
4.3 Stopping the store while the buyers live in a private WeChat. Before you stop, leave orders and inquiries on the company account. If the master login is still on a salesperson’s phone the week they leave, renewing is the second problem.
5. Four columns before you renew
| Check | Where | If it does not match |
|---|---|---|
| End date | My Alibaba contract or order, not the chat | Do not vote yet |
| Amount, currency, payee | E-agreement plus renewal order; the slip must name Alibaba Hong Kong | Do not pay |
| The company is still in good standing | BR still valid; the receiving account is the one bound to the store | Fix the company papers before the renewal |
| Ads and Accio | Their own account or order, not inside the membership | Split the payment |
Treat “after a year away your store years reset” as a forwarded post, not as your contract. What My Alibaba and your agreement show is the page you use. An old post will not explain “what year we are” to a buyer.
Paying the renewal correctly only means the store is still there. It does not deliver an order.
Questions teams actually ask
If we do not renew, is the store gone the next morning?
Read the service end date on the contract page. Ignore “it comes down immediately” in a group chat. Until that date the membership is still in its service period. What you can still see or export after it follows the backend at the time. Export during a week you can still log in, not the morning after.
Can we renew at the RMB 35,800 figure from the web?
Not on the Hong Kong channel. That renminbi figure is another signing path. Your renewal is the Hong Kong-dollar order, wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED. The usual first-year prices are HKD 39,000 and HKD 108,000. The renewal amount is whatever the current order says.
There is still a P4P balance. Do we get it back if we do not renew?
Membership and the ad account are separate. What happens to a balance is on the ad-account page. Do not treat “skip the renewal and withdraw the cash” as a rule. Do not burn the balance on clicks if nobody is answering.
If we stay away for a year and come back, do our store years reset?
Do not turn a forwarded post into your contract. How store years show after a break follows My Alibaba and your agreement. An old post will not answer a buyer who asks what year you are.
Can we pay Corpable and have you renew it for us?
No. Corpable does not collect platform membership fees. The renewal goes only through the official order to Alibaba Hong Kong. An advisor can sit with you on the end date and the export list. We do not touch that payment, and we do not promise inquiries because you renewed.
