Bottom line:
- This week do not book an audit itinerary first. Fill the confirmation and the packing list until a carton can be opened by size. Municipal copy writes Changshu as an “international textile-and-apparel brand centre” and a traditional pillar with a “leisure-clothing city” title — see the brand-centre note. Titles sit in the background. Do not invent market turnover.
- The city approved the Changshu Clothing City plan, writing market trading into the plan. A plan name is not a sewing work order on a packing list. A news note writes the chain as fibre—fabric—design—make—sell — see the garment-industry note. A chain name is not this roll.
- This page walks the confirmation and the packing list. Do not copy Puyuan yarn and gauge, and do not copy a Dongguan Humen stall. Taicang Port only decides the sailing.
A US buyer sends an empty packing-list template back to Changshu. The first row already prints Size / Qty / Fabric lot. The mail says: “Fill THIS sheet. Stall style number is not a size row. HK invoice OK.” Sales returns a Clothing City stall photo and a Hong Kong PI. The packing-list description says “Changshu shell, one size.” The buyer asks how many Mediums, which row holds the fabric lot, and which cell changes if Smalls run short. Sales writes the stall style number into the manufacturer box and says sizes will be counted in the warehouse.
Sewing says Asian and US size runs are mixed this week and the old confirmation can be retitled. The fabric cage says this roll already went to another work order, while the packing list still shows last booking’s lot. Finance wants a “leisure-clothing-city certification fee” in the unit price as officially required. Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED will not buy a fabric lot and will not buy a packing list that can be opened.
Do not answer with “Changshu garments can all be sewn.” Fill the confirmation and the packing list until pieces can be counted by size. How Puyuan quotes yarn and gauge is on the Puyuan paper — a flat-bed work order will not fill this packing list. How Dongguan quotes Humen apparel is on the Dongguan paper — stall talk that will not stick to a size row. How Shaoxing Keqiao quotes a metre sample is on the Shaoxing paper — cloth, not this sewn packing list. Origin is on China goods are not Hong Kong origin. Below follows the confirmation and the packing list, not an audit day.
Write the fabric lot on confirmation page one; attach the size spec as another page
Hong Kong-channel sellers quoting Changshu shells, down jackets or casual trousers get an empty sheet from the buyer. The buyer is not asking “Changshu can sew any.” They need a fabric lot that can be read on page one and a size spec attached as another page. Page one names the contract seller, the sewing licence, the fabric-lot number, composition, colour and the sewing work-order number. Do not squeeze the size spec into the description line. Attach a page: one row per size, chest or length numbers, units written out. The four characters “Changshu garment” in the description will not let an opener measure.
If page one has no fabric lot, leave the unit price blank and do not send a PI yet. Writing a stall style number into the description as a stand-in for the lot means the fabric cage will not face the issue note. A neighbour style’s weight, membrane or colour is different. Do not write “Changshu all uses this cloth” into the confirmation as a lot. Nylon, polyester, cotton blend — write the full name. Change one, change the confirmation page. Do not retitle and reuse.
The title note gives titles to the city. A title is a regional arrangement, not an official fabric certificate you can buy. Do not write “leisure-clothing city already certified” into a confirmation certification box. The plan writes market trading into Clothing City. A stall can show a sample. The confirmation still writes the sewing-licence domicile. Do not rewrite every plate as “Clothing City” because it is easier to remember.
Letter sizes or numeric sizes — name one system on the confirmation cover. Mixing S/M/L and 38/40/42 on one page means the packer asks which row is Medium. Asian-chest and US-chest numbers are not one set. Do not bind two charts as one book without marking which chart governs. If the buyer wants 2XL and the spec has no such row, reply “this size spec has no 2XL.” Do not change a letter on XL to stand in.
A Hong Kong company as contract seller does not make that company the fabric-lot authority. Titles are on document titles. The seller sits in the confirmation header. The fabric lot sits on the material line. Split the two boxes. If the inquiry is only “Changshu jacket,” ask composition, which sizes, and whether down fill is in. Quoting a “per-piece price” before that question means the packing list will miss rows first.
Draft the confirmation to sewing, copy the fabric cage. Subject: “Please put the fabric lot on confirmation page one — contract XX.” They hand-write or print the lot on page one and fill numbers on each size row of the attachment. Do not let them reply “we can do any.” If sewing cannot fill the lot, sales must not fill the selvedge string for them. If cutting sits in another name, add a cutting work-order line on page one. Do not merge cut and sew as “the Changshu plant.”
If the buyer says “just give a price,” reply whether page one still lacks a fabric lot or which size row still lacks a number. Do not stand a stall style number in for it. Finance should not write a “leisure-clothing-city certification fee” into the unit price. The title is a city introduction. Fabric, cut and sew go as contract line items, labelled as material or process quotes. There is no site-wide Changshu garment official fee.
The selvedge string is the fabric lot. Page one copies the digits and letters that can be read on the selvedge or the issue note — not a sales-made “CS-JK-01.” Cloth may come from Keqiao and the garment may be sewn in Changshu. The fabric lot still writes that selvedge string. The sewing work order is another line. Do not rewrite the lot as “Changshu mill cloth” because sewing sits in Changshu. How Keqiao faces a metre sample is on the Shaoxing paper — cloth, not the size page of this sewn confirmation.
Colour number and fabric lot do not share one cell. One roll can be dyed in two vats. The vat goes in the colour box. The lot still writes the selvedge. Writing “any navy will do” into colour means opening day faces sleeve and front as different vats. A shell and a down-jacket liner do not share one confirmation cover. The shell writes membrane and weight. The liner writes fill grams. They may be bound together. Each cover still writes its own lot.
If the buyer’s size chart and the chart on the sewing-line wall do not match, the confirmation attachment recognises one page only. The cover says “this booking’s size spec is attachment page X.” If the wall chart is Asian and the buyer chart is US, do not bind both without marking which one governs. Sewing to the wall and packing to the buyer chart means the carton comes back first.
One size, one packing-list row — do not write “one-size per carton”
What stalls a Changshu carton is rarely “no garments in the city.” It is a packing list that merged every size into one “one-size” row. The opener counts Mediums. The sheet has no Medium row. Do not invent fabric fees or fines. One size, one row: size, pieces, the fabric lot that row faces, the sewing work order that row faces. Mixed sizes in one carton are fine. The list inside the carton still splits by size. Do not write “twelve pieces per carton” and stop.
Two rolls in one carton — two rows. Do not share one lot number. Copy the selvedge string onto that row. Do not write “standing lot.” The sewing work-order number sits in the header or a per-row note. Change the line, change the number. Sales writing “same as the stall” into the packing-list description is not what the buyer reads. The buyer reads the size row and the lot row.
Letter sizes and numeric sizes must not appear on one packing list without a key. If a key is needed, add one line under the table: “on this list, M = chest XX.” Do not say “about the same” out loud. If packed pieces and the confirmation quantity disagree, write the packed count in brackets on that size row. Do not rewrite the confirmation quantity to pretend they match.
Shells, down jackets and trousers do not share one packing-list title. One class, one list. If a class is missing, write that this class has no packing list yet. Do not write trouser pieces onto the shell list to make carton counts. The size on the outer mark must find a matching row on the packing list. Mark says M, list says only “one-size” — the opener sends it back first.
Draft the packing list to the warehouse. Subject: “Please return packed counts by size — contract XX.” The warehouse fills a number in each size’s piece box, copies the selvedge into the lot box, writes 0 on a size that was not packed, and does not delete the row. Delete the row and the buyer thinks that size was never made. Finance should not write a stall-management fee into a packing-list price column. A packing list is not a quotation.
If the buyer template is a Color × Size grid, fill the grid. Do not merge to “one-size” and explain colour later. One colour, one sub-sheet is fine — header writes colour and fabric lot. Two colours on one row with no colour named means the opener returns by colour. Carton numbers run CTN 1, CTN 2. Do not write “several cartons.” Size rows inside one carton add up to the piece count on that carton’s outer mark.
In a mixed carton the inner list still splits by size, then adds a carton total. Do not write only the total. If each polybag is one size, the bag sticker copies that packing-list row’s size and pieces. Bag says M, list says one-size — the counter in the warehouse stops first. Pieces in the bags must equal that size row. Do not pass “about twelve” out loud.
The warehouse counts the packing list, not the stall style number. The counter holds size, pieces and selvedge lot. Sales standing beside them saying “two short on the stall style is fine” will not change the sheet. Whichever size ran short, change the packed count on that row and reprint the whole list. Do not let the warehouse trace a new digit on the original.
After a short size, an extra size, or a fabric change — which rows void and reprint
Short two Smalls and this packing list is void. Do not change digits on the original. Reprint it. Bump the version. The header says “version X, Smalls packed XX.” The old version does not leave with the goods. Add a 2XL and the size spec gains a number row first, the confirmation attachment swaps a page, then the packing list gains a row. Adding only the packing-list row without changing the size spec means the care label has no such size.
A fabric change changes the fabric lot on confirmation page one and every lot on the packing-list rows. Old lot rows are all void. Sales writing “only the colour” as no need to reprint means opening day faces the selvedge first. A membrane change or a weight change reprints the whole sheet the same way. Leftover panels from a neighbour style do not fill a short-size row on this booking. The neighbour chest may not be this size.
Cutting in one name, sewing in another — the packing-list note names which step ran short. Cut short, write the cutting work order. Sew short, write the sewing work order. Merging both as “the plant ran short” means the warehouse does not know which carton to reopen. The news note writes making into the chain. A chain name is not an official filing that this packing-list version is already registered. Do not write “full chain” into a void note.
Void notice to sewing and the warehouse. Subject: “Packing-list version X is void — contract XX.” Name which size changed, whether the fabric lot changed, and which day the new version governs. Pull the old PDF from the forwarder’s inbox. Do not let the forwarder file manifest pieces from the old version. If they already filed the old count, the new short size will not face the manifest and the carton stops in the port area first — not on the sewing line.
An RFQ that says “Changshu jacket, any size, HK seller” is split first by whether the packing list can split by size. Quote the sizes you can lock. Cut sizes you cannot explain, then price. Do not quote a total first and attach a size spec later.
A short cut and a short sew are not one sentence “the plant ran short.” The cutting table pulls panels to the size spec. A cut short is noted with the cutting work-order number and which size dropped. A sew that lost a piece or sewed the wrong size is noted with the sewing work-order number. If the two names push the shortage onto each other, the warehouse ships on the old packing list. Leftover panels from the last booking may not be this chest. Do not write them onto a short-size row to fill the count.
The new PDF file name carries a version and a date, for example “contract XX packing list — version 3.” Withdraw the old version from the forwarder, the warehouse and the buyer. If the forwarder already filed manifest pieces from the old version, tell them the new per-size counts in writing. Do not wait until the vessel. Manifest pieces that do not face the latest packing list stop the carton in the port area. Finance should not read a reprint as a chance to add an “official amendment fee.” There is no such site-wide fee.
Care label, wash label and outer-carton size must copy the same confirmation
The size on the care label, the composition on the wash label and the size on the outer carton all copy confirmation page one and the size spec. They do not copy a stall hangtag. Box says M, care label says L — the opener sends it back first. Change all three in one pass. Do not seal the carton and patch the care label later. Wash-label composition must equal the confirmation fabric line. Do not write polyester as nylon to make the four characters “waterproof fabric.”
If the buyer pulls one piece, you face this care label to that packing-list row, then to the fabric lot on confirmation page one. If you cannot, write that this piece has no facing row. Do not tear a care label off the next piece and stick it on — that is another row. If the hangtag is an English size, the packing list uses the English size. Do not run S on one side and 38 on the other.
If the outer carton prints the Hong Kong English name, do not print Made in Hong Kong. Origin stays China and follows the sewing or fabric city — see China goods are not Hong Kong origin. The commercial-invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company; fields follow 141.86. Do not print a stall style number as the fabric lot.
Before this booking leaves, sales faces confirmation page one, the size spec, the latest packing list, and one finished piece’s care label and wash label. If one sheet is missing, write which one. Do not announce a release date first. A mark draft shows the buyer the size row first, not a stall street photo.
If a hangtag is printed in another shop, the size on it still copies the confirmation attachment — not the old hangtag on a stall sample. English and Chinese sizes must not sit one per side. Wash-label language follows the buyer. Composition words must be the same set as the confirmation fabric line. Do not write Nylon on one side and “polyester waterproof fabric” on the other. Origin still writes China, following the sewing or fabric city — see China goods are not Hong Kong origin.
The size row on the outer mark must find the same row on the packing list. Mark says Size: M / Qty: 20, that packing-list row is also M / 20. Mark says Assorted, the packing list lists pieces for each size inside Assorted. A stall style number may print on the mark as a style. It does not print in the fabric-lot box. An empty fabric-lot box is safer than a wrong string.
A stall style number and a confirmation style number are two ledgers
A shell tried at Clothing City carries a hangtag style number. That is the sample ledger. The style number on the confirmation is this booking’s bulk ledger. The two strings can look alike. They are not one garment. Copying the stall number into the confirmation description means the opener faces the care label to the confirmation and will not face the stall piece.
A sample can leave a hang-rod and go to the buyer. Bulk must leave this sewing work order. The confirmation writes two lines: which stall and which hangtag the sample left; which roll, which size spec and which sewing work order bulk faces. A stall address does not go in the fabric-lot box. The plan writes market trading into Clothing City — see the Clothing City plan approval. A plan name is still not this roll.
Fabric from one weight class to another, or the size run from an Asian chart to a US chart, means the confirmation style number changes. Do not retitle and reuse the stall number. Writing “only the block” as no need to reopen the confirmation fails when inspection faces chest or the selvedge first. Shells, down jackets and trousers do not share one confirmation style number. One class, one confirmation. If a class is missing, write that this class has no confirmation yet. Do not write trouser pieces onto a shell confirmation to fill rows.
The buyer photographed a stall number and wants “bulk on this number.” Reply: the stall number proves a sample was seen; bulk opens another confirmation, page one writes the fabric lot, the attachment writes the size spec. Quote the piece you can lock. A stall sample you cannot lock to a fabric lot is a sample sale first. It does not go on a packing list.
An RFQ that says “Changshu jacket, any fabric, HK seller” is asked first: does this piece have a confirmation style number, or only a stall number? Only a stall number — reply “there is no confirmation for this booking yet.” Do not quote a per-piece price first. A Hong Kong company as contract seller still uses document titles. The seller box is still not a stall style number.
When fill sits in another plant, how fill weight lines up with packing-list sizes
Down fill often does not sit in the sewing name. Confirmation page one adds a fill licence and a fill work-order number. The size spec adds a fill-weight column per size, in grams — not “standard fill.” The packing list writes packed pieces and that size’s fill weight on each size row. The two sheets must use the same letter or number system. Do not run S/M/L on the confirmation and 155/160/165 on the packing list without a key.
The fill plant weighs by size. Sewing sews shells by piece. If the two names do not line up, opening day splits one piece and weighs the fill first. Writing “fill every size as Medium” into all rows means Large and XL come back first. Short two Smalls and the fill work order voids with the packing list. Do not change only the sewing sheet. If fill bags were already weighed to the old version, the new version says which size’s bags are void and which size is re-weighed.
The fill plant’s issue note must show: which sewing work order the bags went to, bag counts per size, grams per size. Sewing receives fill against that issue note, not against a stall style number. The size on the fill bag and the care label about to be sewn must be the same row. Bag says M, care label says L — that piece does not go on the line.
If the buyer wants a fill video, the frame faces this size’s scale and this fill issue note — not a down sample on a stall. The sample’s grams may be another row. The frame must be readable for grams and size. If it is not readable, write that this size has no facing fill weight yet. Do not announce “fill finished” first.
Fill in another Changshu name, sew on this sewing line — manufacturer follows the step that conferred origin; name both. Do not merge them as “the Changshu down plant.” Walk fill at the fill-licence domicile if the buyer asked for fill; walk sewing if they asked for the sew. How Dongguan quotes Humen apparel is on the Dongguan paper — stall talk that will not fill this per-size fill-weight table.
Which packing-list version the Taicang packing video faces
Taicang or Shanghai only decides where the vessel leaves. The packing video must show which packing-list version this carton was packed to. The frame faces the latest packing-list header and size rows first, then this carton’s outer mark, then one pulled piece’s care label. If the three sizes do not match, do not seal this carton. Do not sweep a Clothing City hang-rod and call it this booking’s record.
The file name reads “contract XX packing list version X — CTN X.” One carton, one clip. Do not cut twelve cartons into one scenery film. If the warehouse swapped packing-list versions, the old clips are void. Reshoot that carton to the new version. If the forwarder wants video, send the clips that face the latest packing list — not the phone film from the stall-sample day. Hold the size row long enough to read. A sweep the buyer cannot read is treated as not shot.
On packing day the warehouse table holds only a print of this packing-list version. Old versions leave the table. The counter fills packed counts on the print and photographs it into the start of the clip. A phone note that says “about this many” does not replace the print. If a size runs short on packing day, stop sealing, reprint the packing list, then shoot. Do not seal first and attach a sheet later.
If the buyer wants a warehouse address, return this Taicang warehouse’s licence domicile or the actual despatch plate — not a Clothing City unloading aisle. FOB Taicang, CIF Los Angeles, EXW Changshu warehouse — the delivery point sits on the confirmation, not in the fabric-lot box. The commercial-invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company; fields follow 141.86. Origin stays China. Export papers are on the export documents checklist. Load port writes the port name. The fabric box still writes the selvedge string.
If the outer carton prints the Hong Kong English name, do not print Made in Hong Kong. Do not print a stall style number as the fabric lot. Finance should not write a “leisure-clothing-city certification fee” or a “Clothing City stall fee” into the unit price as officially required. There is no site-wide official price. The membership receipt does not go into the fabric pack and does not go into the packing video.

Questions teams actually ask
The packing list says “one-size per carton.” The opener is short two Mediums. Can a neighbouring Large fill the count?
No. One size, one row. Write the pieces actually packed on that row. Do not borrow the next size to make the total look right. A one-size row will not fill a size spec.
A shell tried at a stall — can the confirmation description copy the stall style number?
Not by default. The stall number proves you saw a sample. The confirmation names this fabric lot, this size run and this sewing work order. The city’s leisure-clothing title is background, not this confirmation.
Short two Smalls — can we change a number on the old packing list and keep using it?
No. A short size voids this packing list. Reprint it. Say which size dropped and whether the fabric lot is still the same roll. Changing a digit without a new version means the opener will not face the care label.
Down fill sits in another plant. Does fill weight go on the confirmation or the packing list?
Both, and both by size. The confirmation lists grams per size. The packing list lists pieces packed per size and the matching fill weight. One phrase “standard fill” will not fill an opening.
The Taicang packing video faces a stall hang-sample. Does that count as this booking’s record?
No. The video faces this packing-list version and this carton’s care label. A stall hang is another garment. The frame must be readable for the size row and the fabric lot.
Can Corpable fill a packing list or guarantee a size will pass?
We do not fill packing lists, we do not match sizes, and we do not guarantee entry. An advisor can sit with you on whether the confirmation, the size spec and the packing list face this piece. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.
