Bottom line:

  • This week lock whether this booking’s yarn-lot number and flat-bed gauge face this finished piece. Tongxiang’s town profile writes Puyuan as a national wool-sweater distribution centre and a national wool-knit garment base, and writes “China wool-sweater town” — see the Puyuan town profile. Titles sit in the background. Do not invent booth counts or turnover.
  • The same profile writes a knit industrial park with spinning, dyeing and finishing, trims and logistics. A park and a chain name are not this yarn lot. A sourcing-centre opening note writes “Puyuan sweater” as a regional brand — see the sweater sourcing-centre note. A brand name is not a gauge.
  • Do not copy Dongguan Dalang knitwear, and do not copy Wenzhou’s three classes. Shanghai Port only decides the sailing.

A US buyer posts a opened pullover back to Puyuan: “Yarn lot and 12gg must face THIS sweater — not the market booth. Gauge and lot on the confirmation. HK invoice OK.” Sales returns a market aisle, a booth number and a Hong Kong PI: “Puyuan source, any yarn, same as the stall.” The buyer asks which yarn lot this piece is, which gauge the flat bed ran, and whether the care-label lot faces this sweater. Sales copies the booth style number into the manufacturer box.

The flat bed says the gauge changed this week and the old yarn lot can be retitled. The yarn cage says this lot already went to another work order. Finance wants a “wool-sweater-town certification fee” in the unit price as officially required. Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED will not buy a yarn lot and will not buy a written gauge.

Do not answer with “Puyuan sweaters can all be knitted.” Lock yarn lot, gauge and the flat-bed work order. How Dongguan quotes Dalang knitwear is on the Dongguan paper. Do not paste Dalang talk onto a Puyuan flat bed. How Wenzhou quotes shoes, valves and eyewear is on the Wenzhou paper — three classes that will not stick to this sweater. Origin is on China goods are not Hong Kong origin. Below follows which yarn lot and which gauge.

Which yarn lot this piece locks, and which gauge the flat bed ran

Hong Kong-channel sellers quoting Puyuan pullovers, cardigans or vests most often get asked about yarn and gauge first. Yarn count, composition, colour, plus flat-bed gauge — not “Puyuan can knit any.” Ask the plant which lot and which gauge this piece locks.

Reply in full sentences: “Contract seller is the Hong Kong company; yarn-lot number and composition; flat-bed gauge; the licence that knitted. Do not write ‘Puyuan yarn, any gauge.’”

The town profile writes spinning into the chain. A chain name is not this piece’s yarn lot. Writing “wool-knit base” into the yarn-lot box does not help; the buyer who opens the carton looks at this yarn.

This week’s mail goes to the flat bed, copied to the yarn cage. Subject: “This booking’s yarn lot and gauge — contract XX.” The body can be pasted. Ask for a line-by-line reply; leave a line blank if they do not have it; do not fill “Puyuan can knit any”: 1) yarn-lot number, composition, colour, count — not “ordinary wool yarn”; 2) flat-bed gauge as a number, 7gg or 12gg — not “fine gauge”; 3) flat-bed work-order number and licence domicile; 4) dye-lot number if this booking dyes then knits, or “not dyed”; 5) whether the care-label or wash-label yarn lot equals this yarn lot — yes or no only; 6) whether the booth style number equals this work order — yes or no only. If the flat bed cannot answer lines 1 and 2, sales must not fill yarn lot or gauge for them.

The sourcing-centre note writes “Puyuan sweater” as a regional brand. Do not write the brand name into the PI as already certified.

A Hong Kong company as contract seller does not make that company the yarn-lot authority. Titles are on document titles. Split the seller box from the yarn-lot box.

If the inquiry is only “Puyuan sweater,” ask composition, gauge, and whether dyeing is in. Quoting a “per-piece price” before that question means opening day will argue the gauge first.

Lock three lines on the confirmation before you price: yarn lot and composition; flat-bed gauge; knitting work order. If one line is missing, leave the unit price blank and do not send a PI yet. Writing the two words “Puyuan sweater” into the description is not what the carton faces. The carton faces those three lines. If the buyer says “just give a price,” reply which of the three lines is still missing. Do not stand a booth style number in for it.

Does the yarn-lot number face this piece’s care label

What stalls a Puyuan carton is rarely “no yarn in the town.” It is a yarn lot that will not face the care label. Do not invent yarn prices or fines.

Lay three papers on one desk. Do not send them in three messages. Paper 1 is the yarn-lot issue note or cone label: it must show yarn-lot number, composition, colour and count. Paper 2 is the flat-bed work order: it must show work-order number, gauge as a number, the yarn lot written on it, style number, and the flat-bed licence domicile. Paper 3 is this care label or wash label: it must show a yarn lot or composition that faces paper 1. If paper 1’s yarn lot does not match paper 2’s written lot, reply “this yarn lot does not face this flat-bed work order” and do not lock a price. If paper 2’s gauge does not match the machine plate or the confirmation, reply “the gauge does not face this piece,” treat it as a gauge change, and do not retitle. If paper 3’s care label does not face paper 1’s yarn lot, reply “this piece has no facing yarn.” If this booking dyes then knits and there is no dye lot, reply “dye lot not locked” — do not stand the four words “dyeing support” in for it. When the forwarder asks for a Shanghai or Ningbo vessel and voyage, if yarn lot, gauge number or the flat-bed work order is still missing, do not send the booking confirmation or shipping instruction. You may enquire a slot. Do not lock a sailing.

Wool, cashmere blend, acrylic — write the name into the confirmation. Change one, treat it first as a possible new yarn lot. Verbal “all wool yarn” will not fill this piece.

After the three papers face each other, send the yarn cage a short receipt. Subject: “This yarn lot issued to which work order — contract XX.” Ask them to reply in writing: this yarn lot, composition and colour, which flat-bed work order it was issued to. A market door plate is not a receipt attachment. If they only write “same as the stall,” make them refill the three-paper fields.

The profile writes dyeing and finishing in the chain. Dyeing is another step. If this booking dyes then knits, write the dye lot too. Do not write “dyeing support” into the yarn-lot box as already facing.

Finance should not write a “first-sweater-market certification fee” into the unit price. The title is a city introduction. Yarn, dye and knit go as contract line items, labelled as material or process quotes, not an official yarn-recognition price. There is no site-wide Puyuan sweater official fee.

If the buyer pulls one piece, you must face the yarn lot from this care label or stitch mark. If you cannot, write that this piece has no facing yarn. Do not tear a mark off the next piece and stick it on — that is another lot.

Split spinning, dyeing and flat-bed knitting

Three steps can all exist. They cannot merge as “one Puyuan factory.” Reply in lines: spinning or yarn-supply licence; a third line if dyeing sits elsewhere; flat-bed licence. If a step is missing, name which one.

The commercial-invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company; fields follow 141.86. Origin stays China and follows the spinning, dyeing or flat-bed city. Do not change origin to “wool-sweater market” because the booth sits in the market core.

The profile writes a market core and a knit industrial park. The market can show a sample. The flat bed writes the licence domicile. Do not rewrite every plate as “Puyuan market” because it is easier to remember.

A Gold-Supplier audit on a knitting line is not automatically this yarn lot. A yarn change is a lot change and often a hand-feel change. Ask whether this booking is still the signed yarn lot.

Park shops and town-area flat beds — write the licence domicile. The buyer asks for the door plate.

Walk the flat-bed shop — not a wool-sweater market booth

When the buyer writes “audit in Puyuan,” split whether they want a booth hang-sample, the yarn cage, or the flat bed. Three gates are not one. “Puyuan can be audited” is no reply.

Write one gate per day. On a flat-bed day, enter only the flat-bed licence gate. Show this work-order number. Do not book it as a “wool-sweater-town tour.” Walk four stations and do not add a market booth: yarn cage or incoming faces the cone lot → this machine’s gauge plate must equal the work order → in-process panels check that this piece hangs this work order → finished piece or care label faces the yarn lot. If any station fails, stop on that station and write which paper is missing. Do not detour to the market for a hang-sample photo. A yarn-cage day does not enter the flat-bed gate. Walk only the cage against the lot and which work order the issue note names. If dyeing sits in another name, book a dye-plant day separately and face this dye lot — do not book it in the same morning as a market hang-sample.

That day the bag holds only the printed yarn-lot paper and flat-bed work order, plus one in-process panel or one finished piece. If the inspector asks for gauge, you can face the number on the machine plate. If you cannot, stop at that machine. The driver’s map takes only the licence domicile and the gate phone — not a booth number. If the buyer comes from Hangzhou or Shanghai, name the drop-off and this gate. Do not write “Tongxiang is all close.”

If the interpreter is booth reception, they can lead the way. They cannot sign a yarn lot. Reception goes on the itinerary, not in the yarn-lot box.

The day before, mail that day’s plant and copy the gate. Subject: “Audit walks this work order only — contract XX.” Ask them to reply in writing: flat bed, yarn cage or dye plant that day; licence domicile and gate phone; work-order number; whether this machine or this cage can be seen. Do not write a booth number into the reply. If the plant moves the appointment to a market hang-sample, cancel that day. Do not turn it into a booth tour.

Write the itinerary in three lines for the driver: date; Tongxiang Puyuan licence domicile; flat bed or yarn. The market and the park are not one ride.

Change yarn lot or gauge — do not retitle the old style number

Yarn from one count class to another, or the flat bed from 7 gauge to 12 gauge, means this piece changed. The old booth style number belongs to another sweater. Writing “only the hand-feel” as no need to reopen will fail when inspection faces stitch density first.

If the sample left a booth hang and bulk comes off this flat-bed work order, the two lots must be explainable. A booth address is not the bulk yarn lot. Write where the sample was taken, and which yarn lot and which gauge bulk faces.

Do not share one retitled yarn-lot heading across pullovers, cardigans and vests. Yarn use and gauge can differ. One class, one list. If a class is missing, write that this class is not ready.

An RFQ that says “Puyuan sweater, any yarn, HK seller” is split first by whether you can lock yarn lot and gauge. Quote the piece you can lock. Cut units you cannot explain, then price.

Before this booking leaves, sales faces five papers: yarn lot and composition; gauge; flat-bed work order; each step’s licence; whether care label and outer box name the same piece. If one is missing, write which one. Do not announce a release date first.

Shanghai or Ningbo Port goes on the bill of lading, not in the yarn-lot box

A Hong Kong company can invoice, Puyuan can knit, Shanghai or Ningbo can sail — all three at once. Load port is not origin and is not a yarn lot. How Shaoxing Keqiao quotes a metre sample and vat difference is on the Shaoxing paper — cloth, not this sweater.

FOB Shanghai, CIF New York, EXW Puyuan warehouse — three terms, three delivery points. Do not write “we deliver in Puyuan” as “we deliver at the port” without naming the warehouse. Export papers are on the export documents checklist. Where the booking stops: if the yarn-lot number is missing, you may enquire a Shanghai or Ningbo slot but do not send the shipping instruction. If the gauge number is missing, the bill of lading may still name the load port; leave the yarn-lot box blank — do not fill it with the port. If the flat-bed work order is missing, treat this piece as not yet this booking; do not copy a booth style number into the instruction. If this booking dyes then knits and the dye lot is missing, stop the same way. Send the booking confirmation only after the three papers face each other. An empty sailing is safer than announcing a release date.

If the buyer wants a warehouse address, return the actual despatch warehouse — not a market unloading aisle. Name which warehouse the packing video was shot in. The video should show this work order and this piece’s care label.

If the outer carton prints the Hong Kong English name, do not print Made in Hong Kong. Do not print a booth style number as the yarn lot.

Finance should not write a “wool-sweater-town certification fee” or a “sourcing-centre stall fee” into the unit price as officially required. There is no site-wide official price. The membership receipt does not go into the yarn-lot pack.

Corpable can sit with you on whether the yarn lot, the gauge and the care label face this piece. We do not grade yarn lots, we do not match gauge, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.

Questions teams actually ask

A sweater tried in a market booth — can the manufacturer be written as a Puyuan knitting plant?

Not by default. The booth proves you saw this sample. The manufacturer box needs the licence that did spinning, dyeing or flat-bed work. Municipal town copy writes Puyuan as a wool-sweater distribution centre and a wool-knit garment base — background, not this flat bed.

Last piece’s yarn lot — this booking only changed gauge. Can we retitle and reuse it?

Not by default. A gauge change often changes the flat-bed work order and yarn usage. Yarn lot and gauge must face this piece. Sticking the old yarn lot on a new gauge is standing in with another sweater.

Can a Dongguan Dalang knit report or Wenzhou shoes-valves-glasses talk be written as this Puyuan sweater?

No. Write the city that did the work. This Puyuan booking locks yarn lot and gauge. Do not swap door plates. How Dongguan quotes Dalang is on the Dongguan paper; how Wenzhou quotes three classes is on the Wenzhou paper.

Yarn in one plant, dye in another, flat bed in a third — who is the manufacturer?

Manufacturer follows the step that conferred origin; name all three. Walk the step the buyer asked to see. Merging three names as “one Puyuan sweater factory” means the driver asks yarn cage or flat bed first.

Shanghai is easier to book. Can origin be written as the port?

No. The port appears as load port on the bill of lading. Origin follows the spinning, dyeing or flat-bed city. The yarn-lot box does not take a quay. The invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company.

Can Corpable grade a yarn lot, match a gauge, or guarantee an audit?

We do not grade yarn lots, we do not match gauge, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. An advisor can sit with you on whether the yarn lot, the gauge and the care label face this piece. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.
