Bottom line:

  • Install path: Sidebar → Skills → marketplace → Install. Remove unused skills on the Agent page.
  • Priority: Agent-level > account-level > built-in. Same name → Agent private copy.
  • When jobs differ a lot, split Agents—don’t hang unrelated skills on one assistant.

Ops installs a dozen skills, then the Agent answers an RFQ with a product-selection playbook. Or the description says “does everything,” and team routing collapses. This page follows Accio’s Create Agent guide and Common operations FAQ.

1. Skills vs templates

Skills are installable packs. Creating an Agent from a template initializes personality, tools, recommended skills, and a private workspace.

  • Daily Assistant: default when unsure; full toolset.
  • Ecommerce Expert: ops, sourcing, conversion; ships with selection/sourcing/insight skills.
  • Shopify dropshipping: a different lane from Alibaba.com trade-assistant work—don’t force one Agent to own both.

2. Install / uninstall

  1. Open Skills in the sidebar.
  2. Browse the marketplace, install what you need.
  3. Review the list on the Agent detail page; uninstall noise.
  4. Edit name, description, skills, and workspace as roles change.

3. Three-level priority

LevelScopePriority
Agent-levelThat Agent onlyHigh
Account-levelAll AgentsLow
Built-inFrom templateLowest

4. Official ecommerce skills named in the guide

Corpable field notes for inquiry conversion and Trade Assurance checks: inquiry conversion, TA self-check—install still goes through Accio’s marketplace.

5. Official stop when skills collide

Common-ops FAQ: if one Agent has many skills and tasks differ a lot, split Agents so each focuses on one job type.

  • One Agent for RFQ / inquiry reply skills;
  • Another for selection / supplier search;
  • Use Agent teams (lasting) or SubAgents (temporary), not twenty skills on one name.

6. Write descriptions that route work

Official note: descriptions drive how the team lead assigns tasks. Spell specialties and boundaries (MOQ, OEM/ODM, certifications, lead time)—not “handles supplier stuff.”

7. Deleting an Agent

Official: private space (memory/config) is cleared and the Agent leaves teams; chat history is kept. Prefer uninstalling a skill over deleting the whole Agent when you only need to drop one capability.

8. Stop conditions & data red lines

  • Far-apart jobs on one Agent → split first.
  • Floor prices and full customer lists: see data red lines.
  • Agents may suggest new skills from repeated work—humans still approve before install.

FAQ

Where do I install a skill?

Sidebar → Skills → marketplace → install. Manage or remove them on the Agent detail page.

Can one Agent with many skills pick the wrong one?

Official answer: if tasks differ a lot, split into multiple Agents so skill calls stay accurate.

Agent-level vs account-level priority?

Agent-level highest, account-level lower, built-in lowest. Same name → private Agent copy wins.

Which template for Alibaba.com sellers?

Daily Assistant if unsure; Ecommerce Expert for ops/sourcing. Shopify dropshipping is a different lane—don’t mash it into the same Agent as Alibaba.com trade work.

Is a vague description OK?

No. Descriptions drive how the team lead assigns work. Write specialties (MOQ, certifications, lead time), not “handles supplier stuff.”
