Bottom line:

  • What Hong Kong Alibaba.com sellers quote in Zhongshan this week is one stretch — Guzhen showroom stock or a plant repeat — not the four words “Guzhen lighting” on a showcase. The Guzhen town page writes China’s lighting capital. A municipal research note puts lighting into Zhongshan’s manufacturing fleet. A municipal-office measure writes a market-procurement trade-mode pilot at Guzhen Lihe Lighting Expo Centre. Do not invent output or operator counts.
  • One booking often stacks four names: the Hong Kong contract seller, the showroom, the plant, and a driver or hardware subcontractor. Who signs, who makes the lamp, who makes the driver are three sentences. Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED buys a showcase. It does not turn the Hong Kong company into a lamp plant.
  • Origin is still China. Nansha or Shenzhen is not a lamp plant. How titles line up is on document titles.

Saturday morning a UAE buyer writes: “Guzhen chandelier + LED downlight, HK invoice OK. Need factory photos this week. Is the Lihe showroom the manufacturer?” Sales zips a Lihe night hall, a Hong Kong PI and a short plant clip into one drive and replies “Guzhen source, the showroom can be audited, plant in one body.” The buyer asks again whether the audit walks the showroom, the plant or the driver house. Sales sends three pins to the same driver.

The same night finance asks whether a household lamp and an engineering lamp can share one electrical-safety report and save a test. The showroom says “Guzhen is one house, the reports can be shared” and wants that written as official recognition. The driver sits on another street. The hardware sits in another town. Neither appears on the Alibaba.com showcase. The forwarder adds “Zhongshan boxes leave Nansha, so origin can be the port.”

Do not reply again that Guzhen lighting, the Hong Kong company and a shared report are one body. Stop three things first: do not write a Henglan, Jiangmen or Shunde lamp plant as Guzhen, do not write a showroom door as the plant, and do not bind household-lamp and engineering-lamp papers as one pack. How origin is written is on China goods are not Hong Kong origin. Below follows this city’s “the showroom is not the lamp plant” map.

Which stretch is quoted this week: showroom stock or a plant repeat — not the four words “Guzhen lighting”

When a Hong Kong-channel seller writes “Zhongshan” or “Guzhen” into a quote this week, they are usually quoting one of two stretches, not a signboard slogan: showroom stock around Lihe and Huayi, or a Guzhen plant repeat. The town page writes China’s lighting capital. Municipal research puts lighting into the manufacturing fleet. A title can sit in the background. It cannot sit in this booking’s manufacturer box.

Before sales answers an inquiry, name which stretch this booking faces. Writing “Guzhen lighting” without saying showroom stock or a plant repeat is how next week’s audit stacks a hall and a plant into one day. Writing “Zhongshan illumination” without saying a household chandelier or an engineering downlight is how the buyer’s papers jump from electrical safety to photometrics.

A Henglan lamp, a Jiangmen luminaire, a Foshan Shunde lamp — those can be seen in a Guzhen showroom and still not be a Guzhen plant. When the buyer asks “Guzhen factory address for audit,” write the place that did the work. If the work sat in a neighbouring town or city, write that town or city. Do not swap a showroom unit number for a plant slot.

This Zhongshan stretchWhat HK Alibaba.com often quotes this weekDo not write as a neighbour or another stretch
Lihe / Huayi showroomLiving-room chandeliers, showroom stock stylesA showroom door is not the plant
Guzhen plant repeatOEM luminaires, engineering non-standardDo not put a Guzhen door on a Henglan or Jiangmen plant
Driver / hardware subcontractPower supplies, brackets, partsA subcontractor is not the contract seller
Nansha / Shenzhen load-outBooking, gather-inA quay is not a lamp plant

A fourth-floor showroom can hang a whole living-room set. The plant sits on another street. The driver sits on a third. Treating three photos as “one-stop Guzhen factory” is how the buyer books one address for the audit. Ask first whether this booking leaves a showroom warehouse as stock, or repeats at a plant. Mixing the two into “Guzhen source” stops the papers at the manufacturer next week.

A showcase can hang twenty or sixty items. One Guzhen street can quote far more SKUs than that. Export Tong and Verified Supplier buy window quota, not the right to write the showroom and every lamp plant in the city into one store. Lock three to five classes you can match to a plant address. Cramming a crystal chandelier and an engineering downlight into one “Guzhen general lamp plant” title leaves you without one manufacturer address when the buyer asks.

Write the email that asks a showroom for papers in full sentences: “The Alibaba.com buyer wants this booking’s work address. Please reply in writing: which showroom warehouse stock leaves; which Guzhen plant runs the repeat; whether the driver is bought in. A night shot of the hall is not enough.” Do not send only “need Guzhen source.”

Sales often treat the four words “Guzhen lighting” as a class that covers the town and its neighbours. The buyer is asking for a living-room chandelier, an outdoor lamp or an engineering downlight. Those three do not share a showroom, a plant or a driver street. A showroom can hang a sample. That does not mean the plant has a slot this week. A plant can make a housing. That does not put the driver in-house. Put the class in the first sentence, then showroom or plant, then the legal name. Until the class is locked, the title table is background.

A buyer who brings a lighting-fair card back to Alibaba.com is often holding a showroom salesperson’s number, not the plant. A showroom salesperson can book a sample visit. That person is not automatically the manufacturer. Ask which of the three the card is: a showroom unit, a trading house, or the name on the plant licence. Write the choice into the email. Do not photograph a booth number into the PI as the manufacturer.

The showroom that signs, the plant that makes the lamp, the driver bought in: three names that will not merge

What stalls a Zhongshan booking is rarely a missing lamp. It is a showroom, a plant and a driver sales has merged into one. The Hong Kong company issues the contract and the invoice. The showroom takes the order and the payment instruction. The plant makes the housing. The driver house makes the power supply. The four can stand at once. They cannot become one English signboard.

When the showroom says “we are the factory,” read the domicile on the licence. If the domicile is a mall unit and the work sits at a plant, the manufacturer is not the hall fascia. When the plant says “we have a Lihe booth,” the booth only proves a display point. It does not prove origin-conferring work happened in the hall. When the driver house says “we handle the lamp,” a driver is a process. It is not the whole-lamp contract seller.

Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED buys a showcase. Customs and the buyer cannot see whether that store is a lamp plant. A member ID, a store display name and a Verified Supplier certificate number will not fill the contract-seller box and will not fill a luminaire model.

Role on this bookingWhere the name usually appearsWhat it cannot stand in for
Hong Kong contract sellerPI, commercial-invoice seller, Trade AssuranceThe plant or the driver house
Lihe / Huayi showroomShowroom order, stock warehouse receipt, mall doorNot the plant by default
Guzhen plantAudit address, housing work, originA night hall shot
Driver / hardware subcontractPower-supply or bracket process noteNot the contract seller; not always the manufacturer

Do not write stock and a repeat as one lead time. Showroom stock can load this week. A plant repeat needs a line slot. Engineering non-standard needs a drawing lock. Writing a showroom lead time as a plant lead time is how a Trade Assurance order discovers the lamp has not been welded. Reply in full sentences: which warehouse stock leaves, which plant runs the repeat, and the two lead times. Do not write “Guzhen is all stock.”

One booking with a chandelier stretch, a downlight stretch and a driver stretch needs the three work addresses named in writing. Do not quote “one box, one Guzhen factory.” If the buyer wants two days for the showroom and the plant, hand over two legal names and two addresses.

Do not bind the showroom order, the plant work order and the driver PO as one unread stack. The showroom order says which stock set leaves which warehouse. The work order says model and lot. The driver note says which power-supply house. Copying three lead times into one “Guzhen fifteen days” is how a Trade Assurance order discovers the driver has not arrived. Split three lines: showroom stock, plant repeat, driver. A chat-room “rush the lamp slot” does not go into the contract as an official price.

A market-procurement operator has a separate filing. The municipal-office measure writes: goods purchased inside a recognised market agglomeration are cleared for export by operators who meet the conditions. A Hong Kong company that has not filed in Guzhen cannot call itself a market-procurement operator because it opened an Alibaba.com store. Opening a store is not filing. If this booking walks ordinary trade, do not write the pilot name into the unit price as a discount.

What buyers get stuck on this week: photometrics, the driver, showroom or plant for the audit

Zhongshan inquiries on Hong Kong Alibaba.com this week are not “do you have lamps.” They are the three questions below. Each one has to match the showroom and the plant. If it does not, do not quote a unit price first.

First: is the lamp showroom stock or a plant repeat. When the buyer writes same as showroom, they want the bulk line, not showroom lighting. The same model on another plant will miss colour temperature and size. Without a lot, do not write a showroom sample-lamp report into the bulk PI.

Second: whose driver, against which lot. When the buyer writes driver brand and papers, they want the power-supply house and a lot, not a whole-lamp beauty shot. If the driver is bought in, the file has to point at the vendor. Sales treating a light-up video as “already certified” is how the forwarder asks for electrical-safety or transport papers at booking.

Third: does the audit walk the showroom or the plant. When the buyer writes factory audit at Guzhen, split the sentence: the hall, the plant or the driver house. A showroom can be photographed. It cannot show a line. “Guzhen can be audited” is not an answer. A Verified Supplier pass does not mean this lamp’s destination papers are complete.

When the buyer asks “Are you the factory?” do not hide behind “lighting-capital source.” Reply: the contract seller is the Hong Kong company; which showroom took the order; which plant made the lamp; whether the driver is bought in. Four sentences in one email.

An RFQ that says “Guzhen whole-house lighting, HK company seller” should be met with a question: can the list be split by household, engineering and driver. A whole house can be displayed. The contract seller has to explain each class’s work address and papers. If that explanation is not ready, cut the booking to the class that can lock a lot and can sample, then quote.

Before a sample lamp leaves, sales has to answer: is this showroom-warehouse stock, or a trial from the plant that will run this booking. UAE buyers often treat the sample lamp as the bulk standard. The colour under a showroom spotlight is not automatically the colour that leaves the plant. Writing a showroom sample-lamp report into the bulk PI is how unboxing stalls on “this is not the face.” If the parcel shipper is a Lihe showroom, the inner note still has to say which plant or which warehouse the sample left.

Do not write the audit as “Guzhen showroom and every plant in town in one day.” Showroom booking, plant gates and an out-of-house driver do not share one set of rules. A buyer coming in from Guangzhou or Shenzhen can walk one stretch that day. Ask whether this booking will show the hall or the plant, then book the driver. Stacking three pins into a “Guzhen factory day trip” is how the buyer steps off and asks where the line is. The line that passed Verified Supplier is not automatically the plant that made this lamp.

How a Hong Kong letterhead sits on a Zhongshan box: Nansha and Shenzhen are not lamp plants

A Hong Kong contract seller with goods leaving a Guzhen showroom warehouse or a plant is the structure Hong Kong-channel sellers use most in this city. The commercial-invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company; line the fields up with 141.86. Origin is still China. Do not change origin to the port because the forwarder says “Nansha booking is easier,” and do not write Guzhen as a district of Hong Kong.

The bill-of-lading shipper is often the forwarder. The invoice seller is the Hong Kong company. The customs operating unit may be the plant, the trading house behind the showroom, or a market-procurement operator. The three boxes can stand together. Buyers and brokers want a chain you can explain. Changing the invoice seller afterwards to match the bill, or changing the plant’s English name to match the store, will stall again at destination.

Zhongshan boxes often leave through Nansha or Shenzhen. A load port is not origin and is not a lamp plant. FOB Nansha, CIF Dubai and EXW Guzhen warehouse face three delivery points. Do not write “we deliver Guzhen” and “the Hong Kong company issues the bill” on the same line without naming the delivery point. Which papers to gather first is on the export documents checklist.

US dollars landing at the Hong Kong company, a renminbi deposit landing at the showroom, and a separate “rush the lamp slot” at the plant will not match four-flow consistency. Finance should not write a slot fee as “Customs requires this charge.” There is no site-wide official Guzhen price. Showroom, plant and driver on this booking go on split lines.

A Hong Kong company often has no Guzhen plant. The goods sit in a showroom warehouse or a plant finished-goods warehouse. Packing photos, warehouse receipts and model lots have to match the work address. They will not match a Hong Kong registered address. When the buyer asks for a warehouse address, give the actual despatch warehouse, not a Hong Kong secretarial floor.

When the forwarder says “Zhongshan boxes leave Nansha or Shenzhen,” that is a route, not a lamp plant. Nansha and Shenzhen are load ports. A Guzhen warehouse or plant is the delivery point or the work address. The three can stand at once. Writing “Nansha booking” as “Nansha goods” is how the origin box is rewritten. A buyer clearing in Dubai looks at where the lamp was made, not which quay lifted the box. A load port sits on the bill of lading. It does not copy into the invoice origin box and does not become a showroom unit number.

Showroom-warehouse despatch, plant-warehouse gather, a driver sent as a third stretch: do not merge three receipts into “the Guzhen warehouse.” When the buyer wants a packing video, name which warehouse will be filmed. Filming a night hall as the packing floor is how destination unboxing fails to match. If the lamp is still at the plant and the driver is already at the showroom waiting to load, the video has to show this booking’s goods. Do not fill the frame with another booking’s whole-house mock-up.

Household lamps, engineering lamps, powered drivers: which papers stall the box

What stalls a Zhongshan container is rarely “no showroom.” It is household-lamp papers and engineering-lamp papers bound as one pack. The three classes quoted most this week are below. No invented lab fees or fines.

Household chandeliers and ceiling lamps. Buyers often want electrical safety against model and lot, not a showroom catalogue. The same model on another plant cannot retitle an old report. Without a lot, do not write “already passed the Middle East” into the PI.

Engineering downlights and commercial lighting. Buyers want photometrics, wattage and a lot, not a living-room render. If a non-standard engineering piece changed the lens or the driver, the file has to point at this revision. Swapping a household-lamp report cover for an engineering model is how destination sends the file back as “not this item.”

Drivers and powered parts. Buyers want a power-supply file against a lot, not a whole-lamp beauty shot. If the driver sits with a subcontractor, the file has to point at the power-supply house. Do not use a tile or furniture path to stand in for a lamp — how Foshan is quoted is on the Foshan paper. A lamp is a powered product. The paper faces electricity.

Class often quoted this weekWhat the buyer asks for firstWhat a showroom often only hasWho stalls the booking
Household chandelier / ceilingElectrical safety against model and lotCatalogues, showroom lighting shotsThe lab and the destination buyer
Engineering downlight / commercialPhotometrics, wattage, lot against this revisionA household report with a new coverDestination sending the file back
Driver / powered partsPower-supply file against a lotA whole-lamp light-up videoThe forwarder at booking, the subcontract house

If the report’s applicant is the showroom, the sample came from the plant and the invoice seller is the Hong Kong company, the three names have to be explainable. A lot that does not match is no report. Certificates and tests are not a store gift. Verified Supplier looks at a runnable line, not showroom lighting and not a secretarial floor. Opening a Hong Kong-channel store does not open a lamp line, does not run the test, and does not guarantee the destination will take the goods.

Do not bind a household-lamp report and an engineering photometric file as one pack. Labs receive samples by class. Binding a living-room chandelier report behind a downlight is how the buyer treats it as not filed. One class, one list. If a class is missing, write “this booking does not have this class yet.” Do not retitle a neighbour’s report.

If a smart lamp enters the same whole-house quote, ask first whether this booking is a Guzhen housing plus a bought-in module, or only a mock-up sitting in the hall. A module’s papers face radio or electricity, not a crystal drop. If the mock-up sits in the showroom and the board sits in another city, write the two addresses apart.

A lighting-fair sample lamp and bulk are not automatically the same lot. If the buyer photographed colour temperature at Lihe and the plant repeat changed the driver or the lens, lock photometrics again. Do not say verbally that “Guzhen lamps are all the same.” A showroom can swap stock. A plant material change has to be re-slotted. Writing a material change as “internal Guzhen transfer” is how the report lot fails to match. Name in writing whether this booking is still the same revision.

A showroom unit number on a market-procurement list will not fill an ordinary-trade manufacturer box. If this booking walks ordinary trade, write the plant’s legal name. If it walks the pilot mode, ask first whether the operator and the supplier have entered the information platform. Do not write the two modes into one sentence “Guzhen can ship either.” Membership does not buy a filing.

If an engineering non-standard piece changed size, drawing lock and lot testing have to run again. Retitling a showroom standard-style report as a non-standard model is how destination sends it back. Name in writing whether this booking is a standard style or non-standard, then decide which report can be used.

If a lamp carton prints the Hong Kong English name, do not print Made in Hong Kong. Do not print a showroom unit number as the plant address. If a wood frame pack uses solid wood, the mark faces the case, not the Lihe fascia. Do not write household cartons and engineering wood frames as “Guzhen unified packing already passed.”

A showroom can follow a whole-house lamp order. When the Trade Assurance contract seller is still the Hong Kong company, the chandelier, the downlight and the driver all have to explain a work address. If the driver cannot be explained, do not write it into the same PI. Writing a bought-in power supply into a showroom contract as an in-house product is how destination asks for the manufacturer first. One class, one attachment, is clearer than ten more night-hall shots.

Municipal research puts lighting into the manufacturing fleet. The Guzhen town page writes China’s lighting capital. Those are titles and planning, not a “lighting-capital certificate” you can buy. A title does not go into the PI as already certified. Lock a lamp that can match a plant and a driver lot, then talk about a whole house. Titles sit in the background. The plant’s legal name sits in the manufacturer box. Do not print a lighting-capital title on the carton, and do not write it into a Trade Assurance remark as a certificate. When the buyer asks for papers, hand over the lot-facing file for this lamp. If it is missing, write that this lamp is not in hand yet. Do not retitle a neighbour style’s old report to stand in.

What sales and finance stop this week on the showroom promise

While the buyer is still asking for the plant address and the driver lot, stop the promised release date and the “shared report” line. Stop: Guzhen original factory, Hong Kong goods, lighting-capital certificate already in the unit price, the showroom is the factory, a Henglan plant equals Guzhen. Do not stop: asking the showroom for the stock warehouse; asking the plant for the legal address; asking the driver house for the lot; asking the buyer which stretch this booking will show.

On the floor, stop printing cartons before the work address is locked. The Hong Kong English name can sit on the invoice. Do not print Made in Hong Kong. Do not print a showroom unit number as the plant address. If the driver file is not in hand, do not seal the carton and wait for the forwarder to “top up at destination.”

Finance deletes “lighting-capital official fee,” “market procurement is cheaper” and “showroom certification fee” from the unit price the same day. Market procurement is a mode, not a discount. Showroom, plant and driver service on this booking go on split lines. In the contract and the PI, delete “the seller is Guzhen’s officially designated lamp plant,” “store certification equals a lighting-capital certificate” and “a neighbouring-town plant equals Guzhen origin.” Write instead: the contract seller is the Hong Kong company; the lamp sits at which plant and the driver at which house; origin follows the place that did the work.

  1. Name in writing the same day: showroom stock, or which plant’s repeat.
  2. Write four names apart: Hong Kong contract seller, showroom, plant, driver subcontract. If one is missing, write “this booking has none.”
  3. The Hong Kong letterhead appears in the contract and the invoice seller box, not in the origin box. Nansha is not a lamp plant.
  4. A household-lamp report does not stand in for an engineering lamp. A chat-room lab fee does not go into the contract as an official price.
  5. A membership receipt does not go into the plant or Customs pack. Membership only proves the showcase was paid.

Corpable can sit with you on whether the showroom, the plant and the driver have been merged, and whether the Hong Kong letterhead lines up with the Zhongshan box. We do not open lamp lines, we do not sign sale contracts, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.

Questions teams actually ask

A Guzhen showroom signed the contract. Can we write plant delivery?

Not by default. Around Lihe and Huayi the common pattern is a showroom that takes the order and a plant on another Guzhen street, or a driver made outside. When the buyer asks for an audit address, write the place that actually did the work. A showroom door will not stand in for a plant, and it will not stand in for a driver house.

Can a Henglan, Jiangmen or Shunde lamp plant be written as Guzhen lighting?

Do not write a neighbouring town or city cluster as a Guzhen plant. Zhongshan puts lighting into its manufacturing fleet. The Guzhen town page writes China’s lighting capital. If the work sat in Henglan, Jiangmen or Shunde, write that legal name and plant address. Do not swap a showroom unit number for an out-of-town plant.

Can a household-lamp report and an engineering-lamp photometric file share one pack?

No. Household lamps, engineering lamps and drivers are not the same destination-file set. Photometrics face a specific luminaire and scene. A driver faces electricity. A showroom binding two reports in one folder does not mean both SKUs on this booking have passed.

The Hong Kong company invoices and the goods leave Zhongshan. Do we write Hong Kong as origin?

No. The invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company. Origin is still China. Nansha or Shenzhen is only a load port, not origin. The commercial-invoice seller box and the origin box are not the same box.

Is Guzhen market-procurement pilot an official discount versus ordinary trade?

Do not write “cheaper” as an official price. Guangdong ran a market-procurement trade-mode pilot at Guzhen Lihe Lighting Expo Centre. It is a trade mode, not a discount voucher you can buy, and it does not replace a luminaire lot test. Whether this booking fits, ask first whether the goods were purchased inside a recognised market agglomeration and whether the operator is filed.

Can Corpable open a lamp line, sign a showroom contract, or guarantee an audit?

We do not open lamp lines, we do not sign sale contracts, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. An advisor can sit with you on whether the showroom, the plant and the driver have been merged. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.
