Bottom line:
- What Hong Kong Alibaba.com sellers quote in Shenzhen this week is a Huaqiangbei stall, a Bao’an or Longgang plant, or a Futian or Nanshan trading house — not the four words “Shenzhen electronics” on a showcase. The Shenzhen industry-and-information scheme puts smart terminals and networks-and-communications in the advantage-expansion clusters. A Huaqiangbei report carried by the municipal development-and-reform site writes it as a specialised market and electronics trading street. A stall is not a factory. Do not invent market-output figures or merchant counts.
- One booking often stacks four names: the Hong Kong contract seller, a Futian or Nanshan trading house, a Bao’an or Longgang plant, and a Huaqiangbei stall. Who signs, who makes, who kits are three sentences. Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED buys a showcase. It does not turn the Hong Kong company into a stall.
- Origin is still China, not Hong Kong, and not a Huaqiangbei stall number. Yantian, Shekou or Hong Kong delivery is a route. How titles line up is on document titles.
Thursday afternoon a US buyer drops one WhatsApp line: “Shenzhen electronics, Huaqiangbei source, HK invoice OK. Need factory audit this week. Is the stall the manufacturer?” Sales zips a Huaqiangbei night counter, a Hong Kong PI and a Bao’an WeChat pin and replies “Shenzhen original factory, Huaqiangbei can be audited, Hong Kong letterhead.” The buyer asks again whether the audit walks Huaqiangbei, Bao’an or a Longgang subcontractor. Sales stacks three addresses in one email.
The same night finance asks whether Huaqiangbei kitting has an official market fee that can go into the unit price. The stall says “China’s first electronics street always charges this” and wants the percentage written as a government guide price. The trading house adds “we are the factory”; the licence domicile is a Futian office. Bulk sits on another street in Bao’an. The cell is out of city. Neither is on the Alibaba.com showcase.
Do not reply again that Shenzhen electronics, Huaqiangbei-as-factory and the Hong Kong company are one body. Stop three things first: do not write a stall as a plant, do not write a Dongguan Chang’an or Huizhou line as a Shenzhen factory, and do not lock a chat-room kitting percentage as an official price. How origin is written is on China goods are not Hong Kong origin. Below follows this city’s “the stall is not the plant” map.
Which stretch is quoted this week: a Huaqiangbei stall or a Bao’an–Longgang line — not “Shenzhen electronics”
When a Hong Kong-channel seller writes “Shenzhen” into a quote this week, they are usually quoting one of three stretches, not a city slogan: a specialised-market stall in Huaqiangbei, an auditable plant in Bao’an or Longgang, or a Futian or Nanshan trading house. The municipal scheme puts smart terminals and networks-and-communications in the advantage-expansion clusters. A cluster name can sit in the background. It cannot sit in this booking’s manufacturer box.
Before sales answers an inquiry, name which stretch this booking faces. Writing “Shenzhen electronics” without saying Huaqiangbei kitting or Bao’an finished goods is how next week’s audit stacks a counter and a plant into one day. Writing “Shenzhen power supply” without saying the housing plant or a bought-in cell is how the buyer’s papers jump from a structure part to battery shipping.
A Chang’an tool, a Huizhou cell pack, a Zhongshan lamp — those are not these three stretches. Huaqiangbei can show samples from plants across the country. That does not mean those plants work in Futian. When the buyer asks “Shenzhen factory address for audit,” write the place that did the work. If the work sat in a neighbouring city, write that city. Do not swap a stall number for a plant slot.
| This Shenzhen stretch | What HK Alibaba.com often quotes this week | Do not write as a neighbour or another stretch |
|---|---|---|
| Huaqiangbei stall / specialised market | Components, accessories, kitted samples, stock modules | A counter is not a Bao’an plant |
| Bao’an / Longgang plant | Smart-terminal structure, power housings, OEM assembly | Do not relabel a Chang’an tool as a Shenzhen stall |
| Futian / Nanshan trading house | Order-taking, sample follow-up, subcontracting | An office desk is not the manufacturer |
| Yantian / Shekou load-out | Booking, gather-in, Hong Kong transhipment | A terminal is not origin |
Huaqiangbei can kit a board, a housing and a connector the same day. That does not put bulk behind the counter. Treating a stall video as “the factory can be audited” is how the buyer arrives at a mall and asks where the line is. Ask first whether this booking is stall stock or kitting, or a Bao’an–Longgang repeat. Mixing the two into “Shenzhen source” stops the audit at the escalator next week.
A showcase can hang twenty or sixty items. One Huaqiangbei street can quote far more SKUs than that. Export Tong and Verified Supplier buy window quota, not the right to write the stall and every plant in the city into one store. Lock three to five classes you can match to a work address. Cramming charger housings and a security finished good into one “Shenzhen general electronics factory” title leaves you without one manufacturer address when the buyer asks.
Write the email that asks a stall or plant for papers in full sentences: “The Alibaba.com buyer wants this booking’s work address. Please reply in writing: which Huaqiangbei stall the sample leaves; which legal person in Bao’an or Longgang runs bulk; whether any work is subcontracted. A night shot of the counter is not enough.” Do not send only “need Shenzhen factory.”
A buyer who brings a Huaqiangbei or consumer-electronics-fair card back to Alibaba.com is often holding a stall salesperson’s number, not the plant. A stall salesperson can book a sample visit. That person is not automatically the contract manufacturer. Ask which of the three the card is: stall, trading house, or the name on the plant licence. Write the choice into the email. Do not photograph a stall number into the PI as the manufacturer.
A Futian office can receive a buyer. That does not put the line in the lift lobby. Nanshan can issue a design. That does not mean this housing was injected in Nanshan. A design house, a Bao’an plant and a Huaqiangbei stall for top-up parts can stand at once. Writing the design-house desk as “Shenzhen smart-manufacturing factory” is how the audit day stops at reception. Name in writing which step confers origin.
The stall, the trading house, the contract manufacturer: three licences that will not merge
What stalls a Shenzhen booking is rarely a missing carton. It is a stall, a trading house and a plant sales has merged into one. The Hong Kong company issues the contract and the invoice. A Futian or Nanshan trading house follows the sample and places the domestic PO. A Bao’an or Longgang plant runs the goods. A Huaqiangbei stall kits or supplies stock. The four can stand at once. They cannot become one English signboard.
When the stall says “we are the factory,” read the domicile on the licence. If the domicile is a mall unit and the work sits in Bao’an or Longgang, the manufacturer is not the counter. When the trading house says “we have a Huaqiangbei stall,” the stall only proves a sample point. It does not prove origin-conferring work happened in the mall. When the plant says “the goods leave Huaqiangbei,” kitting is a process or a gather. It is not the contract seller.
Membership wired to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED buys a showcase. Customs and the buyer cannot see whether that store is a plant. A member ID, a store display name and a Verified Supplier certificate number will not fill the contract-seller box and will not fill a stall number.
| Role on this booking | Where the name usually appears | What it cannot stand in for |
|---|---|---|
| Hong Kong contract seller | PI, commercial-invoice seller, Trade Assurance | The stall, the plant or the subcontractor |
| Futian / Nanshan trading house | Domestic PO, sample emails, VAT invoice | Not an OEM plant by default |
| Bao’an / Longgang plant | Audit address, origin work, ex-works inspection | A counter or a Hong Kong signboard |
| Huaqiangbei stall | Kitting note, stock photos, stall number | Not the contract seller; not the plant |
Do not write stock and a repeat order as one lead time. Stall stock can sample this week. A plant repeat needs a line slot. Writing a stall lead time as a bulk lead time is how a Trade Assurance order discovers the housing has not been injected. Reply in full sentences: which stall stock leaves, which plant runs the repeat, and the two lead times. Do not write “Shenzhen is all stock.”
One booking with stall kitting, Bao’an assembly and an out-of-city cell needs the three work addresses named in writing. Do not quote “one box, one Shenzhen factory.” If the buyer wants two days for the stall and the plant, hand over two legal names and two addresses.
Do not bind the trading-house PO, the plant ex-works note and the stall kitting sheet as one unread stack. Split three lines: kitting, assembly, load-out. A chat-room “Huaqiangbei rush” does not go into the contract as an official price.
Private-label is messier. The buyer’s brand sits on a charger housing, kitting in Huaqiangbei, assembly in Bao’an, the cell bought in. The manufacturer still faces the party that conferred origin, not the brand register, not the Hong Kong contract company, and not the stall number. A photo of the counter is how the buyer asks where the line is.
What buyers get stuck on this week: which street the sample left, stall or plant for the audit
Shenzhen inquiries on Hong Kong Alibaba.com this week are not “do you have stock.” They are the three questions below. Each one has to match the four names. If it does not, do not quote a unit price first.
First: did the sample leave Huaqiangbei kitting, or the plant’s bulk line. When the buyer writes sample this week, split the sentence: stall stock, a kitted piece, or Bao’an–Longgang same-line. Writing a counter sample as the bulk standard is how a Trade Assurance dispute stalls on “this is not the face I signed.”
Second: which lot the powered or cell file faces. A housing plant can do structure. If the cell is bought in, the file has to point at the cell vendor. Sales treating a power-on video as “already certified” is how the forwarder asks for shipping papers at booking.
Third: does the audit walk the stall or the plant. When the buyer writes factory audit at Huaqiangbei, split the sentence: the counter, the trading house or the plant. A counter can be photographed. It cannot show a line. “Shenzhen can be audited” is not an answer.
When the buyer asks “Are you the factory?” do not hide behind “Huaqiangbei source.” Reply: the contract seller is the Hong Kong company; which trading house took the order; which Bao’an or Longgang plant made the goods; whether the Huaqiangbei stall only kits. Four sentences in one email.
An RFQ that says “Shenzhen one-stop electronics, 300 SKU, HK company seller” should be met with a question: can the list be split by stall, plant and subcontractor. If that explanation is not ready, cut the booking to the layer you can match to a plant, then quote.
Do not write the audit as “Huaqiangbei and Bao’an–Longgang in one day.” A buyer coming in from Hong Kong can walk one stretch that day. Ask which stretch this booking will show, then book the driver. The line that passed Verified Supplier is not automatically the line that made this booking.
If the sample leaves Huaqiangbei and bulk leaves Bao’an, write both addresses into the same confirmation. If the buyer signed a stall sample, bulk has to face that kitting and lot. Changing the plant is changing the work address. The papers have to be locked again.
How a Hong Kong letterhead sits on a Shenzhen shipment: Huaqiangbei is not the origin box
A Hong Kong contract seller with goods leaving a Shenzhen plant or stall warehouse is the structure Hong Kong-channel sellers use most in this city. The commercial-invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company; line the fields up with 141.86. Origin is still China. Do not change origin to Hong Kong because the forwarder says “Hong Kong delivery is easier,” and do not write Huaqiangbei as a district of Hong Kong.
The bill-of-lading shipper is often the forwarder. The invoice seller is the Hong Kong company. The customs operating unit may be the Shenzhen plant or the trading house. The three boxes can stand together. Buyers and brokers want a chain you can explain.
Shenzhen cargo often leaves through Yantian or Shekou, or tranships via Hong Kong. A load port is not origin. A Huaqiangbei stall number is not origin. FOB Shenzhen, CIF Los Angeles and EXW Bao’an warehouse face three delivery points. Which papers to gather first is on the export documents checklist.
US dollars landing at the Hong Kong company, kitting in renminbi landing at the stall, and a separate “rush slot” at the plant will not match four-flow consistency. Finance should not write kitting as “Customs requires this charge.” There is no site-wide official Huaqiangbei price. Stall, plant and trading-house service go on split lines.
When the forwarder says “Shenzhen cargo goes Yantian or Shekou, or we can deliver in Hong Kong,” that is a route, not origin. A transhipment port on the bill of lading does not copy into the invoice origin box and does not become a stall number.
Stall warehouse, plant warehouse, forwarder receipt at Yantian: do not merge three receipts into “the Shenzhen warehouse.” When the buyer wants a packing video, name which warehouse will be filmed. Filming a Huaqiangbei counter as the packing floor is how destination unboxing fails to match.
A Hong Kong company often has no Shenzhen plant. When the buyer asks for a warehouse address, give the actual despatch warehouse, not a Hong Kong secretarial floor and not a mall atrium that only shows a light box.
Powered accessories, power supplies, modules: which papers stall the shipment
What stalls a Shenzhen container is rarely “no stall.” It is a class whose papers do not match what the trading house can hand over. The three classes quoted most this week are below. No invented lab fees or fines.
Huaqiangbei accessories and modules. Buyers often want lot material or an interface note, not a counter video. Without a report that faces this booking’s lot, do not write “years of export” into the PI.
Bao’an power housings and powered accessories. Buyers want an electrical file and battery shipping papers, not a light-up video. If the cell is bought in, the file has to point at the vendor.
Longgang or subcontracted finished goods. Buyers want an electrical or radio file against the item and lot, not the slogan “Shenzhen smart manufacturing.” If the work sat in Dongguan, do not put a Huaqiangbei door on it. How Dongguan is quoted is on the Dongguan paper.
| Class often quoted this week | What the buyer asks for first | What a stall or trading house often only has | Who stalls the booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Huaqiangbei accessories / modules | Material and interface note against a lot | Counter photos, verbal “original” | The lab and the destination buyer |
| Bao’an power / powered housings | Electrical file, battery shipping papers | Light-up video, stall kitting note | The forwarder at booking, destination testing |
| Longgang or subcontracted finished goods | Electrical or radio file against item and lot | Verbal “Shenzhen smart manufacturing” | The report lot and the work address |
If the report’s applicant is the trading house, the sample came from the stall and the invoice seller is the Hong Kong company, the three names have to be explainable. A lot that does not match is no report. Opening a Hong Kong-channel store does not open a stall, does not run the test, and does not guarantee the destination will take the goods.
Do not bind an accessory material note and a powered file as one pack. One class, one list. If a class is missing, write “this booking does not have this class yet.” Do not retitle a neighbour’s report.
If a wireless module enters the same quote, ask whether this booking is a Huaqiangbei stock module or a module soldered into a finished good at the plant. The municipal scheme’s networks-and-communications cluster is a planning name, not a radio certificate you can buy.
What sales and finance stop this week on the stall promise
While the buyer is still asking for the stall and the plant address, stop the promised release date and the “Huaqiangbei is the factory” line. Stop: Shenzhen original factory, Hong Kong goods, official Huaqiangbei kitting already in the unit price, the stall is the factory, a Chang’an plant equals Shenzhen. Do not stop: asking the stall for its number and kitting boundary; asking the plant for legal name and address; asking the trading house for the domestic chain; asking the buyer which stretch this booking will show.
On the floor, stop printing cartons before the work address is locked. The Hong Kong English name can sit on the invoice. Do not print Made in Hong Kong. Do not print a Huaqiangbei stall number as the factory address. If battery shipping papers are not in hand, do not click Trade Assurance “shipped.”
Finance deletes “Huaqiangbei official fee,” “first electronics street government guide price” and “stall certification fee” from the unit price the same day. There is no site-wide official price. In the contract and the PI, delete “the seller is Shenzhen’s officially designated electronics plant,” “store certification equals Huaqiangbei filing” and “a neighbouring plant equals Shenzhen origin.” Write instead: the contract seller is the Hong Kong company; kitting sits at which Huaqiangbei stall; bulk sits at which Bao’an or Longgang plant; origin follows the place that did the work.
- Name in writing the same day: Huaqiangbei stall, which Bao’an or Longgang plant, or which neighbouring-city plant.
- Write four names apart: Hong Kong contract seller, trading house, plant, stall. If one is missing, write “this booking has none.”
- The Hong Kong letterhead appears in the contract and the invoice seller box, not in the origin box. Huaqiangbei is not origin.
- Kitting is not written as “officially required.” A chat-room percentage does not go into the contract as an official price.
- A membership receipt does not go into the stall or Customs pack. Membership only proves the showcase was paid.
Corpable can sit with you on whether four names have been merged, whether the Hong Kong letterhead lines up with the Shenzhen shipment, and which class of paper is still missing. We do not open stalls, we do not sign sale contracts, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.
Questions teams actually ask
Can we write a Huaqiangbei stall as a Shenzhen factory?
No. Huaqiangbei is a specialised market and electronics trading street. A stall can show samples, kitting and introduce subcontract work. That does not mean origin-conferring work happened behind the counter. When a buyer asks for an audit address, write the place that actually did the work. If the plant sits in Bao’an or Longgang, write that legal name and address. Do not swap a stall number for a plant slot.
Can a Dongguan Chang’an tooling plant be written as a Shenzhen electronics factory?
No. If the plant sits in Chang’an, write Chang’an. Shenzhen’s municipal scheme puts smart terminals and networks-and-communications in the advantage-expansion clusters. That is not a licence to relabel a neighbouring city’s line. An audit walks the plant that did the work, not a Huaqiangbei counter.
Can a trading-house desk or a Huaqiangbei sample room stand in as the manufacturer?
No. A trading house can take the order, follow the sample and place subcontract work. That does not mean the work happened at its desk. A Hong Kong PI, a Futian or Nanshan trading house, a Bao’an or Longgang plant, and a Huaqiangbei stall for kitting are four names.
The Hong Kong company invoices and the goods leave Shenzhen. Do we write Hong Kong as origin?
No. The invoice seller can be the Hong Kong company. Origin is still China. Yantian, Shekou or Hong Kong delivery is a route or a delivery point, not origin. The seller box and the origin box are not the same box.
Huaqiangbei can kit a sample today. Is that the same as the bulk line?
No. Stall stock or a kitted sample is not automatically the Bao’an or Longgang bulk line. A hand model, a kitted sample and a bulk-line piece are three things. Do not write a light-up video into the PI as certified if there is no electrical or battery-shipping file against this booking’s lot.
Can Corpable open a stall, sign the electronics contract, or guarantee an audit?
We do not open stalls, we do not sign sale contracts, and we do not guarantee an audit or entry. An advisor can sit with you on whether four names have been merged. Membership still goes to ALIBABA.COM HONG KONG LIMITED.
